The past year was certainly a challenging year for U.S. agriculture. In particular, farmers faced continued low commodity prices, high land costs, rising inputs, increased supplier mergers and acquisitions, complicated crop insurance programs and the list could go on and on. As we enter a new year the marketing challenges we face will continue to come from multiple fronts.
This year we launched our blog, Marketing To Farmers, to provide insights into the unique opportunities of connecting brands with farmers, including the “5 Generations of Farmers.” We explored a number of topics in categories like branding, customer insights, advertising, internet of things and digital.
