NAPERVILLE, Ill.— Feb. 9, 2010 —For the second year in a row, Rhea + Kaiser sponsored the Naperville Jaycees’ annual Mardi Gras Charity Ball. Hosting more than 200 guests, the event was truly a party for a cause, allowing the Jaycees to raise and donate more than $8,000 to the 2010 partnered charity, Almost Home Kids™, which serves children facing serious and ongoing medical challenges.
The Naperville Jaycees is a nonprofit service organization with more than 200 young persons dedicated to personal development through community service. Through fundraisers and their most notable event of the year, the Last Fling Labor Day weekend festival, the Jaycees have contributed more than $1 million to various local service organizations over the last two decades.
Rhea + Kaiser supports the Jaycees and the community through year-round involvement with the Last Fling and other Jaycee events. Two Rhea + Kaiser employees, Stacy Mayo and Randi Weiland, are active Jaycees. Between the two, they chair four committees, and serve on the board of directors and Last Fling executive committee.
The 10th annual Mardi Gras Charity Ball was held this past weekend at Northern Illinois University Naperville Campus. For more information on the Naperville Jaycees and how businesses can get involved, visit www.NaperJaycees.org.
